Installation Process

One visit. One day. A foundation guaranteed for life.

No excavation. No mess. No waiting.

The biggest frustration with traditional groundworks isn’t the cost, it’s the disruption: excavators in the garden, skips on the drive, and concrete that needs a week to cure before anyone can build. Screw pile installation works differently. We arrive, install and leave, often within a single day, and your builder can be on site the next morning. It suits Midlands ground especially well, driving past the shrinkable clay, made ground and industrial fill that cause shallow foundations to crack and heave, and anchoring into firm bearing ground beneath. The result is a clean, level, certified foundation that performs for the lifetime of the structure.

Our 4-step installation process

Steps 2 and 3 are where the screw pile installation occurs.

Step 1 : Get in touch

Share your initial drawings or plans so our experts can review your project and recommend the most suitable foundation solution.

Step 2 : Site visit & quote

Your installer assesses the ground and access in person, then specifies the right piles for the job. You get a written estimate, no obligation.

Step 3 : Installation

Our compact rig installs and torque-tests every pile, usually within a day. No mess, and we leave the site clean.

Step 4 : Work begins

No concrete cure, no ground to reinstate. Pile heads are set level, so building can start the next morning.

Every installation includes:

No excavation

Piles drive straight into the ground, so there’s no digging, no spoil and no skips on the drive.

Installed in a day

Most residential jobs are completed within a single working day, keeping your programme tight.

Minimal site impact

Compact equipment protects lawns, driveways, paving and planting, even on narrow access.

All soil conditions

Engineered for Midlands clay, made ground and waterlogged sites where concrete struggles

Year-round, any weather

Not weather-dependent, so installation goes ahead in winter and through frost.

Verified and guaranteed

Real-time torque monitoring confirms every pile’s capacity, backed by a lifetime product warranty

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does screw pile installation take?

Most residential projects are completed within a single working day. Larger or more complex commercial jobs take longer, and we’ll give you a clear programme at consultation so you can plan around it.

Can screw piles be installed in winter?

Yes. Unlike concrete, installation isn’t weather-dependent, so we install year-round. Your project doesn’t need to wait for a dry spell or work around a frost.

What happens if the ground is waterlogged?

Waterlogged ground is something we handle regularly across the Midlands, particularly near river corridors and on poorly draining sites. It doesn’t stop installation. Screw piles are often the only viable foundation where concrete simply isn’t workable.

Do I need to be on site during installation?

It’s not essential, though most clients like to be around for part of the day. We’ll talk you through the work and show you the torque data as it progresses. If you can’t be there, we’ll send a full summary on completion.

Will installation affect my neighbours?

It’s far quieter and less disruptive than traditional groundworks. There’s no breaking out of concrete, no heavy excavation and no skips blocking the road. Most neighbours don’t notice it’s happening.
